Eshowe (South Africa) : sculptured landscapes

It's a nice drive through the forest plantations to the border. On the South African side there are many more trees, as far as the eye reaches, until sugar cane platations start to take over the landcover. Meticulously cultivated, the plantations in their different states give true form to the undulating landscape. At first there were the luminous green sugar cane, the blue skies and white clouds. In the afternoon the colours got duller and darker as the sky covered completely and lightning announced the comming showers. As in perfect timing we unleaded the bike as the first heavy drops fell.
