Cederberg (South Africa) :

S 32º 20.234’ E 019º 01.213’ (elevation: 336m)
After breakfast we had to wait around for a while to have an interview with the local newspaper. Three questions, a photo and a handshake later we were released. Our final destination was now within a day’s journey but we somehow wanted to hold onto what was left of Africa for just a little longer. And we fared well. We got 150 kilometres of dirt road with two passes, oven-like temperatures at Clanwilliam, a roughish mountain road into the Cederberg Mountains and an empty, isolated campsite along a river at the bottom of a steep valley.
