Monze (Zambia) :

S 16°11.627' E 027°32.610’ (altitude: 1089 metres)
Although it would be quite possible for us to cover the 500 kilometres to Lusaka in a day we prefer to take it slowly. This time we rested at a camp site on a farm. The only other guests, a German couple, told us of their misfortune with their hired 4x4 vehicle. A broken power-steering unit which took twelve days to replace and five punctures in three weeks. When I mentioned that we had not had a single one driving across Africa, his explanation came quickly: Oh, you only have two tires and they are much narrower.
